The biggest part of this that is affecting me, in my neighborhood, are the homeless. The police have their hands tied and cannot take appropriate action to make them leave. This has increased vandalism, theft and trash on the streets and alleys. I've been fighting it for almost 2 years and am extremely frustrated. We need help. Untie the hands of the police, fully staff them and let them do their jobs. I have started carrying my gun with me everywhere as I no longer feel safe.

Enforce the law. Enough is Enough. Selectively enforcing the law should be a crime in itself.

Thank you to the community taking a lead to share their concerns. I have long thought there is a silent majority that want more presence, less crime and transformation of how we police. I want less crime and your voices help us policy makers hear from everyone. Thank you, Tacomans deserve less crime and the best trained and ready police force necessary to address crime, nothing less.

The current strategies are not working. The City Council, Mayor, and other city leaders needs restore order and end the rampant lawlessness infecting the city.

Police cannot be asked to face death every time they leave their homes to protect us without investing in their health and wellness because the job takes it's toll on them and we need to support them. They are fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, and other family members. Support our Police

Let’s hold those criminals responsible. Our prosecutor’s office needs to follow through.

People in the community need to feel safe and know that when they are in an unsafe situation, that there is help available quickly.

It is beyond bad. The criminals think they have a free pass. I hope Tacoma has the strength to take back their city.
