I am a grandmother of a 11 month old child, he goes to a day care center here in Wasilla. There has been a few issues happen at the day care. I am not pointing a finger or passing on blame, however I feel if there was a camera in place, the day care workers may be a little more aware of what is going on. Therefor if there is ever an incident in question there would be proof of what happened and no guessing game. So when OCS has to be involved they could review the cameras and make a simple assessment instead of a long drawn out investigation. Please support me in getting cameras placed in day cares.
