I want to know if the products I buy are grown organically, in soil or hydroponically. I want my consumer dollars to be able to reflect my values. Only with information on organic certification, whether something has GMO, is grown in soil or hydroponics can I make an informed decision. As a consumer I should have the right to know how a product is grown and produced.

Having a compromised immune system, and for all do the people that do, it's imperative that we can choose pure organic, void of any contaminants and secure in maximum minerals. There is little security in our government's choices. Keep organic, truly organic. It's worth the fight.

Soil grown foods are organic. GMO is not organic. Factory farming is not organic. Hydroponics is not organic.

Only soil-grown products should be certified organic by USDA. Without the input from the soil microbiome, products will be less nutrient dense & less healthy for us. Soil is the basis of organic nutrient cycling and must be required for organic certification -- there should be no grandfathering-in of any hydroponic production..

We only have one provider of our food...the soil. It needs to be protected, cosseted, and loved. Organic does all this.

healthy soil makes healthy food.......the standards for what we call food in the country are frightening, the health crisis in this country costing billions and trillions is directly related to quality of the food and the quality of the soil.....get with the program USDA, FDA and EPA.........

The organic food standard is the only refuge we have from toxic factory farmed food. Do not dilute this standard!!

Soil can be a carbon sink. Hydroponic Ag cannot. We should work to improve the biology of soil on working lands and through this microbial stimulation in organic systems, we have the opportunity to address climate change.

STOP corrupting the truth of the Organic label to embellish the coffers of mega corporations who car not a wit about providing REAL food from REAL soil, hide behind their power to manipulate the public and control the government all for the sake making the rich richer and to hell with the health of the soil and those consuming their manufactured products that are not worthy of the word FOOD!

Nutrition is in the soil. Hydroponics is corrupting the integrity of organic labeling.

This may sound like American Government 101 and it is because the government public schools do not teach the limitations of proprietary jurisdiction. Without this understanding (literally standing on American land and soil) people are confused with the names of legal fictions that they were taught to believe are what they are part of. If you were not born on federal territory then you were not born as either a "United States citizen" or a "citizen of the United States." If you were born in one of the fifty American states of the Union then you have the superior status as an American. Now would be a most excellent time to reclaim your superior status as an Americam and let go of the inferior federal status that came into existence for extending the privilege of federal citizenship to the former slaves.
