Hold hydroponics to the same organic standards, or they shouldn’t be called organic. Period!

There is nothing wrong with hydroponics -- they just need to be labeled as such under a different subdivision of the organic standards definitions to indicate that while hydroponic, the plants in question were grown without pesticides or herbicides.

USDA - this is unconscionable to allow the use of any pesticide or toxin in the vicinity of food production. Stop the "FAKE LABELING." The organic label should truly mean organic -- no exceptions!

You can't get any more natural than soil - stop trying to take the "natural" out of organic farming. And stop buddy-buddying with Big Ag...they are too big and too controlling of America's farmlands, and American!

Hydroponically-grown produce makes a travesty out of the description "organically grown." We have only scratched the surface of learning about the importance to our health of micro-organisms in the soil, which hydroponics doesn't allow.

Keep up the great work. I can't wait for the new labels which I will use and espouse their use to all I know and meet.

ORGANIC STANDARDS ARE ORGANIC STANDARDS. PERIOD. I DEMAND TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY WHEN REFERENCING HYDROPONIC FARMING. I AM APPALLED THAT YOU THINK YOU CAN DILUTE THE STANDARD BECAUSE THE "ENVIRONMENT" IS AN ENCLOSED FACILITY. AN ORGANIC LABEL MUST MEAN THAT IT IS ORGANIC!! DON'T BE STUPID!!!
NO ROUNDUP!!!
You are enforcement not law making.
Organics priority one!!!
Stop killing us!
Cannot be organic if harmful chemicals are used.
