Organic means grown in organic soils without chemical. Hydroponics is grown only with chemicals. They are totally different, totally opposites.

Organic farming is based on building greater life in complex soil systems. It is not based on replacing all natural nutrition with fertilizers coming out of a bag. The USDA is damaging trust in the seal by allowing such produce to be called organic.

I have worked at a hydroponic farm. That is NOT the food I am willing to pay organic prices for! I've been buying organic produce for 40 years and I never buy hydroponic.
