The current situation with non-organic food being allowed under the organic label doesn't just hurt the real organic farmers who began the movement. It hurts every consumer who isn't getting what they hope and what they pay for. Consumer Protection is....where? National Standards aren't real any more.

Keep the pressure on USDA to honor the true and original soil based meaning of Organic Production.

Please keep hydroponics out of our organic system. They are like wolves dressed in sheep's clothing.

This petition I think is the most important petition we can sign at this time. We, and every living thing that we see around us, are resysnthesized soil. We come from it, and go to it. It is the one constant in the cycle of life. If we lose it we lose everything

I am pleading with the USDA to honor genuine organic standards in food for the consumers that the agency should be protecting. Only the actions of USDA can project who that agency stands for. I implore USDA to represent genuine organic standards in labelling, rather than sell the label to any bidder. Consumers matter.
