We have worked hard and paid into this system, it is not fair to change to another health plan. We were promised this plan , therefore it should remain as it is.

Keep your hands off of my Medicare. How dare you steal what was promised to me and use it to run the city and give to a for - profit advantage plan to make a profit from.

We are opposed to the privatization of everyone’s health care. It should be seen as a right, not a privilege

It's especially shocking that unions representing NYC public employees are helping to privatize a major public agency that provides excellent and needed services to people around the country.

We having been paying dues and I feel the union never has our back. We work under tough conditions. We are constantly having to change lessons according to someone’s ideology

I find it outrageous that having finally reached retirement and having survived cancer and 3 stent implants I am now asked to surrender the only thing I rely upon, other than my pension.
This is ageism pure and simple. I have experienced nothing but disappointment and have had my services cut back and denies since i retired in October 2020. I’m so disillusioned in our union and I’m worried about my future as a result.

This is an outrageous theft of our health care. We earned this. It is a breach of promise to change it in any way. Such a change should NEVER apply to those already retired or working - only to new hires, if at all. We will not rest until we put a stop to this.

Worked many years and now as a senior citizen I deserve to keep my Medicare. Cost cut another way not on the back of retirees!

Leave our benefits intact or enhanced; we agreed to work under the terms of our contracts, the benefits promised need to be honored.

Do not save money on the backs of NYC retirees. We have worked hard during our careers and do not deserve this. Our city, our state and our country has other places to get needed funding- tax the rich, cut the bloated pentagon budget! We need to move toward a Single Payer system, not to additional privatization.

We need our health care to stay the way it is. We need to go to our own doctors. We should not need permission to call for an ambulance in an emergency. We need to have options in selecting our insurance coverage.
