Check out what the city of Phildelphia is doing to keep water from entering into the sewer system. http://www.phillywatersheds.org/what_were_doing/green_infrastructure/tools

I do not think that storm water should run into an estuary. Please protect the North Bay.

Let's look at all the alternatives especially new green infrastructure like rain gardens and pervious surfaces to absorbe storm water, rather than dumping it.

Really the question is 'How can it NOT have an impact?' Please act wisely so that impact can be determined before the inflicting of damage on the North Bay ecosystem.

I urge the Hudson Common Council to do the right thing and prepare an environmental impact statement on the City's imminent sewer separation project. So much effort by some many people has been made to make the Hudson as healthy as it is, please let us be the community that supports and strengthens the river, not the the community that instead dumps toxic material into it.
