As residents of Hudson, we urge the Common Council to prepare an environmental impact statement. We have a sailboat at Bliss Marina in Catskill just downstream from Hudson, so we have a direct stake in clean water. We are on the water almost every weekend during the summer with our family and friends. It is imperative that a study be performed before the sewer project takes place, for the project would have a long-term impact on water quality and wildlife habitat.
