Of course a Long Form Environmental Impact Statement should be filled out, and ideally the City itself should not be the Lead Agency in reviewing this project-- it should be the Department of Environmental Conservation.

The City of Hudson has an opportunity to do the right thing and separate street water from sewage but disposing of the street water via a pipe into North Bay untreated is not acceptable. A full EIS would examine all the alternatives. If we're going to spend this grant money let's use it properly. North Bay is the focus of conservation effort. Protecting it's water quality is important.

This needs full environmental review--which will show how foolish the whole idea is.

I used to live in this area and would not like to see it hurt. An EIP statement will not hurt; just slow things down a bit.

The proposed action would degrade an area of significant ecological importance. Full environmental review process is crucial.

Please do a full environmental impact study before embarking on this project. Forcing this much contaminated water into this import bird area would damage a sensitive ecosystem. The Hudson River has been recovering from years of pollution and is finally begin to recover. Help protect the North Bay and investigate alternative ways to disperse this sewer water. DEC needs to study this project.

We need the correct environmental impact statement for the sewer separation project as it will affect the ecologically vulnerable North Bay.
