Not doing the full array of testing would seem to be the height of irresponsible governing. Please do this with the health and welfare of the river, the people, and their environment as top priority.

Let's not turn back the environmental clock. This review is essential if we are to protect our precious, natural ecosystems.

We have a choice between reaching a rational decision which draws on already-conducted empirical studies, and circumventing responsibility in hopes of exploiting a perceived loophole to pollute. Send a message to Hudson's oligarchy: join the 21st century.

There should be no exemption -- the North Bay deserves a full environmental review before the sewer separation project continues. Damage to the bay's sensitive ecosystem, once done, will be irreversible -- we must make sure we don't act irrationally and irresponsibly. Please have a study conducted on the effects of streetwater runoff before proceeding.

as a kayaker I see first hand the pollution that stresses the Hudson River environment - more rigorous standards are needed!

It wears me down that, at every single juncture to make logical and environmentally-astute policy decisions, EVERY SINGLE freakin' time elected officials choose/pursue the opposite. And, the battles and assaults continue day in and day out; week after week; year after year. If any of the Council or Mayor's office (god forbid the mayor!!!!) spent even five minutes close to the water in a kayak they would know the utter lunacy of this plan (No . . . wait a minute: even THEN they wouldn't "get it."
