Mt Zion is such a neat little place. There is so much history crammed into this one spot. I truly hope this doesnt get developed, once land like this is gone, it is gone forever.

Aldie VA was a pivotal place during the civil war both at the beginning and towards the end. This is very important that we save this historical location.

Wound be a serious mistake to allow this development . Once this historic area is overwhelmed with such large development , it will be lost forever ! There is no way to restore it once it is desicrated!

Please preserve the Mt. Zion Civil War Battlefield to insure others can see the actual battle site closer to how the site looked at the time of the battle next to Mt. Zion Church. I am hopeful people will not be interested in living in new homes where so many lost their lives, or "lest we ferget"!

As a long-time tour guide, historian and educator in Loudoun County, I know that it is vitally important to be able to see where our shared history was made - not just to read about it. To isolate historic Mt. Zion Church from the land surrounding it, particularly where the historic Civil War cavalry battle was fought, would be a tragedy. Please don't let that happen!
