I think it's immoral, illogical and inhumane and, furthermore, it's without scientific merit.

Badger vaccination, as is taking place in Wales is the ONLY answer. Farming practice needs to looked at. The movement of cattle all over the UK. Plus its not only badgers that spread btb, its the cows and other animals!

Culling badgers is expensive, counterproductive (re: perturbation), inhumane and meaningless. Put your resources into better biosecurity and vaccination.

Evidence continues to come in showing the futility of culling badgers as an effective method of eradicating bTB. With statistics showing that cage-trapping had to be resorted too then surely it makes sense to vaccinate the badgers, more humane and more cost effective too.

Following the Gloucester and Somerset cull fiascos, failing in efficacy, humaneness and cost effectiveness, this has to make sense. We still get to see badgers on our local patch and a more effective move towards the eradication of bTB is taken.

It quite simply hasn't had the right impact and cost a fortune of tax payers money. Pretty disgusting really, with poor planning and not listening to the experts !!

Please vaccinate, I feel sure we wouldnt kill humans to limit the spread of a disease so lets give the badgers a break. Especially as culling doesn't work.
