Cultus Lake is already quite crowded with housing; removing more lakefront green space reduces the beauty of the lake for all. Plus those, without a Cultus home, who visit the lake, will have less space to access/ enjoy. BC has many lakes, so these people will eventually go elsewhere, taking their money with them.

The green space is a big part of what makes Cultas Lake as great as it is today! Without it, it's just another lake. Also by not having this space for others not living at Cultas to enjoy will also hurt the local businesses.
