More than ever we need to keep our green space for everyone not a select few Cultus lake is the reason many of us live in Chilliwack and we do not want to see it developed or "fenced off"

I have written to the CLPB and FVRD in the past with reasons for protecting the green spaces on the waterfront. Please do not make these spaces residential.

Please save our green space. We should be able to find more viable ways to make money should we lose Sunnyside to a Fire! Let's be more proactive and prevent forest fires. The nonsmoking bylaw in the Park is a great start.

I am very upset that they are considering allowing building on our lanes and green spaces that are now lake access. The people that are behind the lake front cottages really depend on those views and the connection to the lake. We have been at cultus for 37 years and can't believe these vital green spaces won't be there for our grandchildren.

I support the saving of the waterfront green spaces and laneways. Many times during the past summers, We have had picnics at the park space at the foot of Birch Avenue to enjoy all the water activities at Cultus. This is a very popular spot that is usually shared with other families. We would not want to see this space sold for residential development and lost to the public.
