Protect Lake Access Areas at Cultus Lake Park

I've been visiting friends and family at Cultus lake for 40 yrs and laneway access to the beach is a necessity. All homeowners deserve reasonable access to the beach, not just those fortunate enough to live along its shores.

For the 30+ years my wife's family has been enjoying this space. The access point in question has made getting to and from our cabin from the lakefront an easier and safer option especially with our young children and elderly parents / grandparents who are able to freely travel without assistance. Changing that would dramatically affect the experience. Please consider the individual needs as opposed to the business decision.

Please preserve the lanesways and green space between these two houses for the continued use of my children and grandchildren.

As a resident on Maple Street for over 38 years, we use the walkway between these two houses on a regular basis to carry our kayaks and boating equipment down to the lake. Please leave this lane way which is beneficial to all residents, just so one new house can be built!

I am 41 years old and weve had our cabin on maple st. For 38 years. I now have 2 kids, and as it was when I was young, we pack all our ski stuff plus inner tube up and down the alley leading to the walk way between 169 and 170. This appears to be a lame cash grab by the parks board. Not having this green space would be a pain in the butt as Maple St. Doesn't have another lake access

Our family wants the waterfront green space and laneways protected by zoning them parkland not residential.

Increasing the density of housing without access to a laneway running horizontally represents a major safety risk to the houses at the end of each street.

we bought our house across the fire lane between 169 and 170 because we were assured that no house would be built on that lane , now it seems that things could be different . we will respectfully request that that fire lane be kept as such , there is a reasonable distance between 170 and the next fire lane 179 : 10 houses and 4 houses to the next . If you build a house between 169 and 170 there will be 15 houses between fire lanes . the maximum distance that I have observed on First Avenue is 10 houses

we bought our house 259 First Ave. on 1997 and have the access to the lake right in front of us between 169 and 170 that we access the lake with our kayaks and chairs etc , if you build a house on the designated fire lane you will be seriously interfering on our way of life as well as all the other neighbours up Maple st and surrounding area .

Absolutely no building on this lane/lot.

Please keep the park spaces and lane ways/walking paths as they are. Do not re-zone them. These common spaces are extremely important to maintain the culture and community.

Please do not zone the infill lots and laneways as residential.

These lots and laneways should not be allowed to be sold for residential.

That these infill lots and laneways not be allowed to be sold and used for residential homes.

Listen to your electorate, protect the laneways and parks!

We have to have these open spaces for many reasons, mostly... please leave the park status alone.

Dont take our water front green spaces away.
