I travel that road frequently and stop to move turtles. The amount of turtle mortality is appalling.

These poor creatures don't stand a chance on the roadway. Something definetely needs to be done to protect them.

Help protect the turtles by signing the petition advocating for the placement of exclusion barriers at Highway #2 (Westbrook/Collins Creek) where turtle road mortality is remarkably high!

Please support the efforts to save turtles in Ontario. Too many are killed on the roads and by drivers who don't avoid striking them. Often there is time to slow down and steer around turtles on 2 lane roads and some highways.

Do it for the animals! Banff has wildlife crossing areas which are highly effective. Can something similar be done in Ontario?
