Protect Hermann

This is a town whose main income is tourism. This housing development goes against everything that drew us to this town.

High density housing in an area like that not only has negative environmental impacts, but directly affects the quality of life of current city residents and those in the surrounding area along with the unlikelihood of the current infrastructure's ability to support the population growth a high density development would bring.

This will turn into a ghetto with a quickness. It’s not a secret there's no pride unless you own it. Just look at what the federal government has done to any large city with public housing.

Welcome development of 55+ Condos & Homes, safety, all week shoppers, these are the people you want to grow HERMANN the right way!!!

We have to many people not caring, just interested in tourism, to make money and not about the Hermann’s who live here since a long time . Myself included since 25 years.

I do believe this is someone circumventing the common sense and knowledge of others to profit for their own benefit. And yes I brought the big white elephant in the room to the forefront. Basically that is what it comes down to. Not safety for all. Not for the eniviroment. And last but not least NOT for the community or the surrounding neighbor hood. It strikes me as not above board since no one had a clue about this until someone let the cat out of the bag. Sounds a little shady to me.

You should listen to the residents of Hermann and respect our wishes as we have outlined them clearly to you.

Before we build more we should take care of what we have. Some of the historic buildings on 1st are wouldn't pass occupancy permits but they have BNB's in them.

We own lake property and one of our favorite things about Herman is the small town feel with all nature everywhere. No big chains!

Hermann should focus on continuing to be a historical, safe, and family-friendly town. They need to focus on providing housing and attractions geared toward families, instead of apartments for individuals.

I don’t think Hermann needs apartments. Build in another town. This is a tourist town and this will bring crime. I moved here because of the low crime.

I have family who have lived in Hermann for many years and come to visit often. In my opinion, the direction Hermann is being taken will be its downfall. Shame on whoever is throwing this beautiful, unique town under the bus!

This low income housing may be detrimental to our beautiful town.

Projects of this size should always require a forum and approval by local residents.

Wrong and dangerous location!

Too dangerous under the dam. And it is too big for the quant town of Hermann.
