I strongly oppose Euthanasia, abortion and gender modification. Doctors should not be forced to act against strongly held personal beliefs.

The proposed changes are unacceptable and interfere with freedom of speech.

These proposed changes are totally unacceptable-as doctors should not be dictated to-they must be able to exercise their own judgement and professional ethical practice in each case.

We need doctors to depend on medically and scientifically verifiable conditions rather than cultural or social opinions. This legislation is dangerous and foolish.

That this petition is even necessary is a sign of the troubled, disturbing times we live in.

please protect Good Medical Practice in Australia by safeguarding the Medical Board Code of Conduct. Ever since Doctors began practicing their profession they have been protecting life, and this is what their patients expect them to do. Why do you spend so much money protecting youth suicides and then try to change the practice of saving lives. Stopping parents from making their own decisions about their children instead of supporting them. The government wants parents to support their children and pay for all their education but have no say on their welfare. Give back the Doctors their rights of Conduct in the Hippocratic Oath.

The hidden agenda is of course limiting resistance to euthanasia, abortion, gender dysphoria etc.

This is another attack on free speech,. A person should not be silenced because of their profession.

This is a dangerous step that can strip doctors of the ability to act in accordance with their conscience and is totally unnecessary.

I strongly disagree with the proposed legislation as being inconsistent with good medical practice.

freedom of speech, freedom of religion. We live in a democratic country. Doctors grounded on morals and ethics are entitled to make clinical decisions with freedom of conscience.

Doctors must retain the right to professional opinion free of political correctness, or (often misguided) cultural perceptions. For example, should the cultural perception of some, that female genital mutilation is necessary, be respected? John Buchanan

This is a matter of both freedom of conscience and freedom of speech for medical practitioners. The federal Health Minister needs to step in and stop this despotic proposal immediately.
