Protect “Good Medical Practice” in Australia: safeguard the Medical Board Code of Conduct.

Proposed changes are not consistent with good medical practice

Doctors are qualified to suggest treatment whereas culture is not

Please don't change the Medical Board Code of Conduct - I thoroughly agree with the comments that have been made on this petition.

What is next. Are we being forced to be like the three monkeys,see no evil,hear no evil,speak no evil,or are going to be like the next stollen generation,not able to do anything because of the power of APHRA.

Doctors should be allowed to express their professional point of view to patients with our fear of recrimination. We need good sound medical advise to be freely given with out restraint.

Saving lives is no longer the agenda, it's a travesty. Aborting babies, members of one's family making decisions to kill relatives. Gender fluidity. Dear Lord deliver us from these extremists!

Dr ' should be allowed to practise without interference of culture. There are so many cultures here in Australia and if we all demand to be treated culturally we will go nowhere. Let the current code of conduct continue please

Please do not alter the Code of Conduct for doctors which encourages good medical practice, allowing doctors to exercise ethical principles for the benefit of their patients.

Please respect the rights of our Doctors to make ethical decisions and protect the doctor/patient relationship.

Dear officer ,safe a good and responsible medical practice.

In my view, the Medical Board in this country should be working to uphold and protect conscionable and ethical practice by our doctors for the well-being of our community. Please do not allow the Code of Conduct to change.

The freedom of expressing conscience and speech of doctors is fundamental to good medical practice, so that the community can put their trust in the medical profession.

Although different cultureal or ethnical background, people should hold basic principle of freedom speech. It is now whatever the government, corporations, big institutions and professional bodies are obviously limited people to express their ideas about same sex marriage, gender theory, assisted voluntary dying and abortion. Restriction are enforced. I am not a puppet. Nowadays some people are going extreme and take away our normal human right, moral, culture and religious values. They are even control the professional group such as doctor cannot express their heart felt opinions above stated issues. We need good doctors provide opinions in different perspectives, but not limited them to one direction only.

Please do not change the Medical BoRd Code of Conduct.

The integrity of a doctor ought to be above reproach. Compromise integrity and you erode trust central to doctor patient relationship. A doctor, pastor, executor and lawyer have higher expectations of integrity. These subtle changes degrade the quality of appropriate response.

I do not agree leave our medical profession as it is!

The gov of the country should LISTEN to the people who elected them. Now our fellow citizens want to take on gov as well?? they may be learned people but even if they were Rhodes scholars they cannot dictate to the populous. there are many practices that are inconsiderate already in Aust let them clean their own house first.. The code should remain DO NO HARM!! that includes the mental state of all those they treat. Victoria's gov already has anti christian morals as gov dictates to doctors. enough already. LETS GET BACK TO WHAT MAKES SENSE
