It is outrageous and greedy that our legislators who are already paid well and have better access to money will decide to use funds meant to tackle the environment as theor nest egg. I join this alliance to reject,repudiated and call for corrective action against this decision

Climate funds must be used for climate actions and nothing else

Ghana’s Carbon market revenues are to be mobilized to achieve Ghana’s climate ambitions and safeguard its future against climate change, not for MPs Pension funds. This is misappropriation of funds!

This should not be allowed. Sustainable Development comes with some sacrifices. We all must get committed!

The world is just five years away from the 2030 SDG deadline, yet Ghana’s Parliament is considering using carbon credit funds for MP pensions instead of climate action. This is a misplaced priority that undermines global efforts toward sustainability. At a time when nations are accelerating SDG commitments, this proposal signals a lack of seriousness. We must reject this and demand accountability. The future is at stake!

I'm honestly not shocked because they were able to pass the LI 2164 which allows mining in forest reserves. Thank you YCC for starting this petition. We can't give up.
