We live in the area being considered. My husband and I are from here, and have traveled the world. We chose to come back to this exact place to spend the rest of our lives and start a family because to us, it is heaven. Please do not take away our paradise for sake of expansion and profit. The best things in life, to us, are not things at all. Instead they are nature, peace and family. Please help preserve the assets we are blessed enough to have.

St. Joseph County has been lying and hiding their true plans since the 1980's. Here we come, they say, and there's nothing you can do about it. We must fight against these invaders. It's not their land and lifestyle. It is OURS. WE LIVE HERE!

Obviously certain commissioners don’t want an industrial park in THEIR neighborhood but WE DONT EITHER! Kingsbury has developed infrastructure so go there and build your hearts and dreams...but not in Our Neighborhoods.

Agriculture is not dormant in St. Joseph county. People need to eat, raise their families in a positive area. The money the county spent acquiring land was supposed to be used cleaning up lead contamination from previous industrial ventures and provide for the health and wellbeing of the citizens affected by it.

This is a watershed for the future of st. Joseph County, Indiana: will our grandchildren live in despair a post-apocalyptic ghost town like Gary, or will they live in a place where the ecosystem is intact and durable (sustainable) livelihoods (jobs; careers; work) give hope for generations to come?

Making money is important, but the time has changed so we have to realize how much we need to have stuff and money.
Great Mother Earth is warning and telling us what we must do. I have been thinking how I connect people who have great ideas.
