IT'S JUST SO NOT RIGHT WHAT WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH NOW, BEING IN SO MUCH PAIN. UNABLE TO WORK! SOMETHING'S GOTTA CHANGE. HOW ABOUT INTERVIEWING EACH PAIN DR. PATIENT? THAT MAKE'S TOO MUCH SENSE TO HAPPEN!

It is crazy that a dope head can walk into a clinic and get a medication, which also helps pain, and a legitimate pain person, who has worked their entire life paying taxes, can not go to their doctor to receive this same medication. Let's save those dope heads even if it is at the expense of decent tax paying citizens.

Oregon's new guidelines can only be described as a way to 'thin the heard' by killing the most vulnerable people who 'drain' the system. Shame on Oregon!

This is simply outrageous! Without my medication, I am left crying in pain and bedridden. I have never abused my medicine, nor failed a drug test and I have always had the correct amount of pills remaining whenever they counted. How on earth can you dare compare true chronic pain patients with the junkies? I would not be able to care for my children if I had to be taken off of my pain meds. Then what??? People deserve the proper care for the conditions they are faced with. Have you also been considering taking away insulin form those who have diabetes or inhalers away from asthma patients? My well being depends upon the proper medication for my condition just the same as any condition.

One size doesn’t fit all please stop punishing people who have legitimate pain and leave us alone and let us suffer in as little pain as possible without having to turn to alcohol, marijuana, or street drugs.

We now have CMS weaponizing the CDC guidelines, PROP has started a campaign to silent pain patients. The AMA just come out with resolution 235 against weaponizing the CDC guidelines. How many pain patients have to die before these idiots get it.

many of the treatments advised here are not covered by medicare/medicaid and I guarantee you 1,000% your costs of caregiving, transportation, home based shut ins and general medical costs are going to go up because you are taking away the quality of life and medications that allow us to be functional members of society. You will take children away from loving parents, and further ruin patients life in what I believe to be a highly unethical treatment of human beings.

Please stop this madness. We need our medication just as a diabetic does. You are causing unnecessary suffering

Seems the Government wants to cause more pain! When a Doctor has taken an Oath to help people, the State officials and Government agencies and politicians are going after People that need the medicine. Funny how they dont care if we die? It is a way to kill off the poor, elders just to save money? They take that money and give themselves raises. They dont care if you have tried everything before the pain medication. It's all to control us and kill us! Government, Politicians and Stupid people that have no right to take our freedom away, this so called epidemic is a LIE! Another way for the RICH TO GET RICHER! I am in Pain! I am not an addict!!! Those that use Herion get more help than those in PAIN! What happened to the Constitution of the United States? I have had over 20 surgeries, did physical therapy that made me worse and gave me permanent damage. All to Save a Dollar? It's only cost effective for those making these laws. They will use that money to give themselves Raise well pain patients suffer! If any of those people were in the pain I was, they would use their power and money to get pain medication! The epidemic is not with pain patients, stop the Street drug! Oh! The Government makes money from the sale of illegal drugs. Anything for lawmakers to make a Dollar!

No forced opioid tapers. Adhesive Arachnoiditis has no cure. Symptom management is a way of life. Medication for symptoms management is humane -a person daily life tasks are important to the individual!

I was in pain management for 10+ yrs! I lost access to my dr and meds because of financial issues. But, I was abruptly told I could no longer continue to see my doctor until my past balance was paid, had been on high does of pain medication, I was desperate! In the middle of a terrible divorce and homeschooling three children! I can relate to what CCP’s are experiencing these days! I never abused my meds, never was found guilty of malingering! Never failed random drug testing or pill counts! Throwing these patients in withdrawal from long term medication they’re accustomed too taking , causes EXTREME anxiety and desperation! They will either find relief in the street my self medicating or possibly commit suicide! If they don’t move to those drastic measures, they will be forced to live a life that cannot possibly be humane!! I know ... I lived it!!! Please show mercy... there has to be a better way to deal with this epidemic!! Please don’t punish the chronic pain patients!

Pain patients have been punished enough already. I read daily comments of patients wanting to kill themselves, losing their jibs and homes, becoming isolated from family and friends, and having no hope. You wouldn't deny a diabetic their insulin or a heart failure patient their meds. 80, 000 people die a year of alcohol related deaths. Why havent you banned alcohol?
