I wouldn’t have made it through without mine. I talk about them to both to this day. While I laid bleeding out my midwife never left my side. Worked 8 hours past her shift because she promised not to leave me. No reason for this! Save our midwives !!

This is such a shame for the community. I received excellent care from all the midwives during the recent birth of my son. I will most likely be leaving Seven Hills West Fork. Not only is this a shame for the community and for myself, but also for these brilliant midwives who made such a difference in countless women's lives. Please bring them back!

Absolutely devastated over this decision. My deliveries with the midwives of 7 Hills West Fork were incredibly empowering. The women of Cincinnati deserve to have the compassionate and competent care that these midwives provided.

I left this practice in my final weeks of pregnancy due to this decision. It was devastating. Well wishes to Cheyenne, Heather, and Megan. You are fantastic providers and always made me feel heard and comfortable.

I absolutely loved the midwives and the combine midwives/OB model of care. I was a new patient and seeing everyone in the practice and was so incredibly impressed with visits with the midwives. I was so upset to hear the news of them being let go and ultimately decided to move my care to anew practice that continued with the combined midwife/OB model. I did this as a first time mom at 36 weeks bc I truly felt so supported by each of the midwives and just couldn’t see my care being the same without them

Megan and Cheyenne have been integral parts of my care team for years, and their global approach to women's health, and empowerment of us as women to listen to our bodies and make informed medical decisions. This leaves the women of the west side, especially those currently or becoming pregnant, with a true lack of supportive and empowering birthing options. This also leaves Mercy West without midwifery care. The patients of Seven Hills deserve better, and the midwives who have dedicated their physical, mental, and emotional energy into us, deserve better. Please save our midwives.

I came to your practice for my current pregnancy after disappointment with my first birth experience. Your MDs and DO listened and empathize and encouraged me to utilize midwifery care. I did and have been thrilled. Now, entering my third trimester, the support has been pulled out from under me with this absurd decision. I am left wondering if the compassion expressed was genuine, and I am unsure if I can continue with your practice. I cannot even get a clear answer on who the decision makers here were so that I can make sure my complaints are heard by them. Please rethink this decision. Firing anyone is never easy, but eliminating a whole branch of care at your practice to save dollars while keeping all MD/DO folks is insulting.

I'm a local doula and I can't tell you how many clients I've recommended to these midwives. Being able to so confidently recommend providers that I knew would give them the best possible care was invaluable. We need more midwifery options!
