Midwifery care is essential for many women to have the birth care they feel comfortable with and the outcomes they hope for. The shift away from traditional (and evidence-backed!) knowledge is resulting in more interventions and less favorable outcomes for mothers and babies. Just because you're living doesn't mean you're thriving.

I switched from other providers to the 7 Hills Midwives Westfork 12 weeks into my 2nd pregnancy. The midwives supported me, answered questions, and made me feel safe in a way I have never felt in a medical setting before. All three of them made a difference in my health and comfort throughout my pregnancy. Making the 8 minute drive from my home in Cheviot to Mercy West during precipitous labor, knowing I would be under the care of the midwives I trusted gave me great comfort during that difficult time. Cheyenne provided excellent care during my delivery and aftercare. Removing midwife care from the Westside breaks my heart for my future needs, for other women who thrive under midwife care, and for the midwives themselves, who are top quality providers. Please bring them back.

I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 5th baby, it is unconscionable to force women to lose their trusted midwives especially when they are so close to giving birth! An OB does Not give the same care as a midwife!

This is so amazing that profit decides how care is given. Women deserve choices in their care during pregnancy and birth. To leave so many literally at the end of the pregnancies with a complete change in care is devastating to a woman. The care team within the midwives has been talked about with so many family members and friends. My heart breaks for the stolen choice for these women and the job dismissal so flippantly of the midwives.
