Silver Creek School is a wonderful school where our daughter Jenny could and grow, learn and have all the help she needed to achieve her goals of being independent and strong. There isn't any nursery anywhere that could do as well or better. The staff are the most dedicated wonderful and caring. Losing Silver Creek will leave a very large hole in the community and in the lives of handicapped children who need a place like Silver Creek.

We should be preserving services that help others, not removing them. Governments should invest in local community initiatives.

Children come from a diverse background to join the Silvercreek family. It meets the needs of the GTA in effectively teaching children and supporting families in a safe reverse integration environment. As part of the therapy community we need Silvercreek to support children as no other program provides the intense therapeutic environment needed for an effective school community. If the TDSB is determined to sell this school, Silvercreek should receive an offer of a school in the neighbourhood, eg. St George's and they should move the playground At their cost

This is a much needed extremely important facility that benefits many children and their families. So many suffer because of the shortage of resources available and with so many children on wait lists, the sale of this facility and the surrounding green space should not even be considered.
Please put your thoughts on the consequences all these children and their families will be faced with and will be left with very little solutions. Put them first…..and Please find it in your hearts to keep this facility for so many children that rely on it to achieve future success.
Remember…….Our children are our Future……..

My little daughter will go there in September. It's a shame that they want to shut down, they don't think about the little ones needed so badly this school.
