Two of my three children attended Hollymead and all three graduated from AHS. I have spent my own career working to protect children and adults from sexual predators. There must be transparency and accountability. Full daylight and nothing less.

Albemarle County Public Schools are complicit with Mr. Swiney's actions. Silence and failure to act supports the status quo and empowers the wrongdoer. Dr. Matthew Haas should resign.

This should apply to all schools, Wahs and others and all instances - students and teachers. The board and ACPS should be required to disclose all for all.

Protect our children. Clearly the current procedure for background checks is not working.

Fire Dr Haas. He needs to go. Since being Superintendent the school district continues to trend down. Fire Dr. Haas!

When a school system promotes sin and deviant sexual behavior, it attracts this type of evil.

Please do better background checks on staff. Background checks, YEARLY. Not just upon hiring.

As a parent of a student in ACPS, I expect transparency, accountability, and a strong commitment to student safety. Our children deserve a safe learning environment, and families deserve timely and accurate communication.

I’d love to know the connections between Nicholas Clark and him. Especially at woodbrook. Our kids need to be protected.

How this entire incident was handled in deplorable, a disgrace to the ACPS value system we were so encouraged to follow, and CARES. To the teachers who innocently recommended services, I am so sorry and hope this doesn’t hang over your head. To those who knew of past complaints and continued to silently operate at the expense of those affected children, what a shame.

A complete disgrace. Mr. Hass has to GO! And many of the officials sitting in this school board. If you dont have a child expiricing this school system please remove yourself from the board. You are detached from our reality and cant not make informed decisions affecting our children. This school system is broken and now has on record two adults convicted of similar charges.

We, as parents in the Albemarle Co school system, demand and deserve full transparency and accountability for employees who are not safe for our children.
