Protect a Person's Right to Hunt and Fish

Legislation such as hunting certain species should be left up to the Ministries Dept. ( People who understand conservation). NOT the general public.

Wildlife Management must be based on science to ensure sustainability of hunting, trapping and fishing for the residents of BC. Responding to public sentiment is simply irrational.

There is a need for management hunts.

I don't even fish or hunt but I sure love to eat fresh fish and natural meat.

Lets keep hunting alive for our younger generation

Hunting, trapping, and fishing are healthy outdoor activities and are based on science rather than emotion. They are activities which bring young people to the great outdoors and respect nature.

Hunting regulations are structured each year based on scientific research which, by the way, also ensures healthy game populations. How can anyone argue with that? And.....why would you take away an economic benefit from your local businesses that support the hunters?

There is no question that the North American model for wildlife conservation has been extremely successful. A key part of that model is sustainable hunting and fishing. We are in an era where political bias, not scientific facts are determining the fate of hunting and fishing around the world. The facts will clearly show that sustainable hunting and fishing are a key element in the long term conservation of species. It is also a heritage that many of us enjoy. We are also leading conservationists because of our love of the outdoors and hunting/fishing. Reducing or eliminating our role in conservation, will seal the fate of many species.

Instilling more guns laws won’t keep firearms out of criminals hands. You’re only hurting the law abiding citizens.

Hunting and Fishing are a lifestyle that many enjoy that should not be taken away because of the opinions of the few who do not.

The importance of children and adults enjoying the sports of hunting and fishing have been known forever. Keep that freedom alive

Having bureaucrats making decisions without outfitters and hunters suppling real science is like having your home built by your insurance salesman
