Hunting is a big part of a solid conservation plan. If you care about the wildlife then you need hunting.

Hunting is a very important part of wildlife management. The majority of funds that promote, protect and sustain wildlife come from hunting and fishing revenue. The people responsible for taking away hunting opportunities are not spending money for the care of wildlife promoting habitat, research and population levels best for each species. That money is going in their pockets to provide for their agenda, not the overall benefit of wildlife.

Hunters and fishermen have been funding wildlife for generations. Who will fund this if you continue you to restrict the harvest of wild animals. I don't like cigarettes, are you gonna outlaw them?

It is an inherent part of our Canadian history and what our survival in this great country was based on! Hunting and fishing are a huge life lesson in the balance of nature!!

I've hunted in British Columbia several times. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth to hunt with an amazing amount of game. Without hunting to support the local communities and game management, I'd hate to see British Columbia go the way of several countries that have banned hunting and game populations have fallen dramatically.

Hunting and fishing is our heritage. If you choose not to do it that's fine but don't think you have the right to take away our right to do so!!!

Hunting is the ultimate form of conservation, banning hunting is preservation - and a terrible idea.

Hunters have a vested interest in preserving the environments they hunt in and the animals they hunt. Hunting is a proven tool to prevent species overpopulating. It also helps (through licensing fees) fund conservation efforts such as species re-poplulation.

When animals have no value - they cease to exist. HUNTING IS A CONSERVATION TOOL. When will we realize this and use the income from hunting to benefit the wild places and wild animals that we love.

The reason many species have been brought back from the endangered lists are because of hunter's money, not anti-hunters.

Keep our heritage and rights to hunt conservatively, overpopulation of bears does not help anyone either.

Please consider the need for our hunting heritage, which is the basis for the North American model and subsequent conservation of many species

I have had the great pleasure of hunting BC in the past and have made some lifelong friends in the outfitting industry that depend on sportsman's dollars for their livelihood, it would be a shame to see these good people sent to the soup line for lack of being able to harvest an abundant resource.
