Reinstate the Grizzly Hunt in BC

If you ban hunting for one species why not ban for all, I'm sure that wpuld be a great idwa....?

Please keep the hunting seasons open in B.C.. I have been lucky enough to enjoy your beautiful providence on previous hunting trips and enjoyed the experience to its fullest. Please highly consider keeping these hunting opportunities open for future hunters. Hunting is part of our heritage that has been passed on from generation to generation. Everything needs management and the hunters are the first to agree with that but the anti hunters only want all or nothing. Management is key but letting species expand til starvation or til the predators whip out another species is not management. Humans are smart enough to determine manageable levels of species but animals don't know birth control or when they have taken too many animals out of an area. They just whip out a species then move on again. Your sportsmen are your biggest conservationist like it or not. Don't make this political - rely on your biologists and wildlife managers for guidance.

We must protect our rights

There is more grizzly bears today then ever before!

Bears in B.C. are in abundance; therefore, controlled license issue to hunt them is NO threat to their existence. Not to be allowed to hunt them is a threat to man kind with over population of the bears.

I'm for hunting where ever it is right. We should always use hunting to keep the numbers right, and hunting creates concern for the well-being of the animals that people are profiting from. Thoughtful hunting creates concern for healthy animal populations. It's very sad when some will allow the numbers to get out of hand because they are pious.

Hunting is the appropriate management method for this spectacular species.

Wildlife management decisions need to be left to the fish and wildlife service not politicians. These decisions need to be based on science not public emotion that you think will get you votes. Hunting is at the core of humanity and is a deep seeded tradition in BC. Conservation must be based on science, politicians need to stay out of the way of the managing biologists.

Please have the sense to use science to make these decisions.
