I’ve harvested 5 Elk around Southern BC. On every hunt but one. We’ve had Grizzly problems. Last year we Backpacked over 160 Miles. Again with Grizzly encounters. With no Grizzly Hunting allowed, Grizzly bear attacks on hikers will increase to the level that they were in the 80s and early 90s. This misinformed group will cause deaths.

Hunting is a way of life for many northern communities. We have been getting our food for our families by hunting for generations. Please don't take away our freedom of providing for our families. It's not about the trophy's. Its about food.

It is not in the best interest for animals or tourism to cancel hunting. This has been proven in many countries over the years.

Our god given rights, I live in the great bear rainforest. I have hunted grizzly bear since I was young, my children have all rights to learn our family traditions and respect for the land and animals. To take away my right to hunt grizzly destroys years and sentries of respectable conservation and preservation of all species.

Yes we must protect our right to hunt fish and eat healthy foods ! It's part of our heritage and must not be lost because a few people think it's wrong !
