This is the absolute worse internet provider I have ever dealt with and I have had to literally use vacation time for work due to not being able to work from home from outages.

I've been able to stay calm about the poor service, but last Friday when Suddenlink went down that was breaking point. I emailed their entire C-suite and got a quick response. Two days passed and I received a call that the field tech replace a 'node'. Not sure what this means, but that was their reasoning. Three days later (today) it went down again.

We periodically go without service, both cable and internet, last time was about 2 weeks ago, service was out for about 36 hours, only got credit for $8.61 and pay $175 per month. Goes up too often especially with the outages

Horrible. No WiFi in backyard and plenty of dead spots within home.

I also have just found out another alarming policy Suddenlink has. I called this week to cancel their service as I have decided to go with someone different now. They told me I couldn’t cancel service on the day I called as I would have to wait for the entire billing period to be over. So if you have Suddenlink and wish to cancel and you cancel the first day of your billing cycle you will have to pay for the entire month. To me this is extremely dishonest. There is no contract with Suddenlink so in my opinion when you call and cancel, it should be effective the day you call. How on earth can they get away with so many dishonest policies!???

We have lived in Prosper and had Suddenlink for 16-17 years. Started with them when they were Cebridge. Our service over the years has been horrible. The ONLY reason we haven't switched is due to work and it being an ordeal to change our emails. They not only have poor service, slow speeds, random outages (consistently) and recently- they have increased our rate drastically. They offer no loyalty discounts, or promos anymore. We are planning to switch providers when we move.

We have Suddenlink for the 4 months we have lived in the area and have had the poorest connectivity. They tell us we have the 1 gig but when tested we only actually get 430mg. Every time we call about how slow things are, they accept no responsibility, If we had more choices here, i would definitely switch providers.

I called to scheduled a tech to come out and check our cable and attice boxes. A rainstorm happened to occur on the day of my appointment. I get a call (home & cell) stating the issue was on their end and it was resolved, no need for their tech person to come out and just automatically canceled the appointment. Checked the TV attice boxes and it is still having the issues (pixelated pictures on the TV, Guide is wrong, and Error 200 message with a black screen). Recalled tech support and they state there is a "power outage" in your area (again) and they couldn't even reschedule the appointment because their system is out. How many "power outages" do they get?!?!? It seems to always happen when there is a "rainstorm" in the area. Plus, they have NO IDEA when it will come back on so they will call or text me when this issue gets resolved so we can reschedule?!?!? They NEVER HONORED their obligation and our first bill was MORE than they quoted, got charged for everything they promised was included at no extra charge, and could NEVER get the right person to fix any of these problems. NOT A SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

We have upgraded to highest modem SL offers in efforts to “get better service” but no improvement. A line tech order has been placed and has yet to be filled going on a week now. All any customer service reps can tell me is to “call back and check later”.

The outage on 10/11 lasted most of the day and we didn't regain service until almost 3:30 am of 10/12. Suddenlink needs to reimburse customers for services not rendered.

I have black outs every day of the week. The TV SHUTS OFF in the middle of a program I am watching. A lot of static

Customer Service is horrible. Almost impossible to get thru the automated phone system to actually talk to a customer service representative. Costs keeps going up, service going down, and I don't have any other option for high speed internet.

And with their 24 hour outage policy which means they only give you money back to your account if it’s out over 24 hours straight. I’m guessing over the last six months there is a whole week or more a month (if you count strictly hours) that we are completely without service. They get away with not crediting your account because it’s never a full 24 hours it’s 23 one day 13 hours the next day 12 hours the next day and so on. We also pay for 4 TV’s and only one has been working where you can actually watch T.V (can’t record because DVR doesn’t work either) because the other 3 have those mini TIVO’s and if the internet isn’t working then they aren’t working either. So we pay for 4 TV’s and mostly only have access to one because their internet has been awful for the last 6 months.

2 day outage for the Internet, and mini Tivo boxes not working meaning no TV on tv’s that are not on the main box. This is not the first time for this, seems like it is every few weeks now and over the last 6 months.
