When a heinous crime against man or animal is committed, justice must prevail upon the one who perpetrated the heinous act. Anything short of swift,commensurate punishment would show that this type of amorality is socially acceptable. Please, your Honor, do the right thing, not only for tiny and innocent deceased victim, not only for her grieving owner, but for all of your constituents who look upon you as one who will not allow cruelty to be committed on your watch without strong consequences.
