Petition Against the Proposed Site for Gypsies and Travellers in Star/Lllanfairpwll

The council really should listen to the people of this Island they are stepping on very dangerous ground forcing this on us. !!

Absolutely no way. Too close to communities. Move them somewhere more isolated! It will have a huge negative impact on llanfair and surrounding villages!

I do not live in Colwyn Bay as stated here,i live in Menai Bridge,born & bred on Anglesey & no i will not contributr any monies towards the petition..........

Why??? it is about time the council on Anglesey look after the people who have elected them into office before even considerating any traveller community...

I strongly object to the proposed site at Star as the consequences of approval will be extremely detrimental to several successful local businesses and severely damage the quality of life and property values of many long term home owners.

Why here ? Such a lovely place and this will be an eyesore as well as the behaviour that some of the traveller community displays - not welcome !

Please don't alow them in my village. Our friends have had hell with them living nearby them.

Do we need this so close to the gateway of Anglesey, there must be a more descreete site

Another terrible idea by the joke that is Anglesey council, and as usual they never listen to local residents. There is no way a site like this would be placed anywhere near a councillors house. If these were law abiding people there would be no problem but they are not. Travellers cause anti social behaviour, steal and intimidate people and leave a hell of a mess behind for others to clean up. Surely there must be some disused industrial sites out of the way of everybody which if have to can be used? All the best with this petition.

This is possibly the worst suffestion of all for the Travellers site, why would an Island that is highly dependent on Tourism put a Travellers site next to one of it's biggest Tourist Attractions!?

Send them back to Ireland

As travelers have such a bad reputation for leaving waste wherever they go, steeling from others, anti social behaviour and showing no respect to wherever they park. I strongly disagree with having a site full of travelers just down the road from where I live.

Site totally unsuitable

Ridiculous choice of a site , find somewhere secluded that visitors wont see.

I just can't see the sense of the location. It seems logic needs to employed given sites such as Mona are unsuitable. More consultation is needed given we should be supporting establishing appropriate sites.

Total madness to even consider this to be a suitable and safe dwelling / stopping place
