Placing a travellers site next to a small tight-knit community has greater effect than if it were placed near a large community. It removes the perceived safety of children in the area; the fact that at the moment faces are known to local families and children can play unsupervised. This is something we are losing in the UK and these small communities should be protected and valued as they become fewer, not developed and destroyed.

This is a very small and safe community. Using it is a stopping place is inappropriate and will have a lasting and negative effect on residents. Children feel safe here and a steady influx of people not known in the area will affect their lives immeasurably.

This is making my sister feel insecure and unsafe. She feels it is her responsibility to her family of young children to sell their home and move away from the area as a result of these plans. Not to mention they have turned an average terraced house into their own stunning, much improved family home which would be a heart break to leave. They are settled and happy where they are now, it will be more than just an inconvenience.

Why would you want them on the island at all ??? If it anything to do with the ferry do it in Holyhead on the port.

The local self employed and small businesses need small premises to run their business from yet nothing is built to service their needs yet the council can find the money to build a gypsy camp in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the result of this camp or any other gypsy camp will be reduced values to local residents properties which has potential to give them negative equity which in turn can effect their pensions and savings and greater theft in the area and, gypsies don't contribute to the economy they purely take funds straight out of the revenue built by the council tax payer. This not speculation this fact and can be seen n areas where this has already happened, I urge the locall residents to get their properties valued before and after the camp is built and form a group and put an inflation increasing percentage claim in to the local authority.

The council has chosen the least suitable site by their own scoring system, they have essentially been blackmailed by M-Sparc out of chosing a site they already own in a much more suitable location - there is also a plan for a permanent site at Penhescyn 2.5 miles away which could easily be expanded to accommodate the alleged 15 caravans that will be occupying the site for 2 weeks at a time- a tremendous waste of tax payers money.

The safety issues are quite apart from the disastrous effect this proposal will have on many local businesses sited in very close proximity to the land in question whether directly or indirectly affected. and the village situated almost immediately adjacent [not at 200 meters as I have seen stated in Council documentation.] The vandalism/trespass , aggression and intimidation reported and witnessed at the Mona unauthorised site promise to have a devastating effect on local daily life.

Imagine the rubbish etc. been blown on to the A55/A5 causing the unthinkable, sleep well who ever decides on this site!

This is unfair in our small community. Look at the mess they have left in other areas.
Why not position them nearer to bigger towns where they can cope

Major safety issues with narrow strip of land between A55 and A5 roads ,near busy junction which already has issues with visibility, nearby location of dual carriageway flyover and Holyhead to London railway link with private ,unattended bridge for transit of animals etc. Is it acceptable to gamble with public safety in this way?
