Not suitable for travellers, too many people would be affected by this proposal.

The site is adjacent to the A55 expressway, so would appear to be unsuitable. The Planning Policy for Traveller Sites identifies the need “for proper consideration of the effect of local environmental quality (such as noise and air quality) on the health and wellbeing of any travellers that may locate there or on others as a result of new development”. The CLG Good Practice Guide suggests that this will include consideration of noise and possible disturbance to travellers living on the site, and possible noise and disturbance to the wider community, in particular from movement of Gypsy and Traveller vehicles. Noise and disturbance from adjoining uses, such as from industrial areas, railway lines or from highways, should also be considered given the greater noise transference through walls of caravans than through the walls of conventional housing.

I am against the proposed site at Star due to health and safety issues. There have already been fatalities near the area

A totally unsuitable place being near a very busy village and road where there have been a fair few fatalities over the years . There will be a dearth of burglaries and thefts . And as previously experienced at Mona , total filth left behind . Why encourage them to stop . The gipsies on the Pentraeth road are not true travellers they are just simply society dropouts who have chosen their way of life . The Council is pandering to their needs .

Pilots in Mona have been put in danger due to behaviour of the travelling fraternity, now the council wish to transfer the dangers to users of the A55 and A5 road.
