How do u plan on dealing with all that traffic. Also maybe you should be obligated to build the new school that it is going to take to educate all the kids from there. Instead of tax payers .u are going to make money sell out and leave. Then leave all the people in the community to have to deal with all the headaces that is going to result in building all those house. After u sell this then u will sell the willams old farm and the farm that. Your brother lives on.

None of the roads in the area can handle traffic from a subdivision. Gwynn is basically 1 lane. Old Laguardo is not wide enough for 2 trucks to pass. People using Smith Rd as a cut-through would be a nightmare (ask the sheriff's deputy who 'missed' a curve and went into the ditch). AND turning onto 109 from Double Log Cabin at ANY time of day or night is already dangerous, without adding this much more traffic. Not to mention, the infrastructure doesn't exist to put 284 houses out here. We like living in the COUNTRY.

109 is extremely dangerous without adding more traffic to an already busy road...having a residential community of this size would be bad for the area.

I am currently building a house on Double Log Cabin Rd. I don't want more traffic on Double Log Cabin Rd. I also have horse being boarded on Gwynn Ln. That road (very narrow to where when two cars meet both have to drive in near ditch) is not large enough to handle the additional traffic. The entire road would have to be widened.

I live at 318 Double Log Cabin Road. I am concerned about the additional impervious surfaces and the increased flooding potential on dry fork branch. I am a former regulatory employee at TDEC-DWR and know how these large developments can have impacts downstream.

Keep our community rural and agricultural; it's tough enough driving on Rt. 109 and the Laguardo area. Additional housing will bring; crime, congestion, utility issues, school issues. Speaking of schools always takes into consideration of busing children and the cost of building said schools along with maintaining the infrastructure of this area. Unfortunately more deaths due to traffic accidents are likely to occur especially for things along the Laguardo, Double Log Cabin and Academy roads.

The area is simply not ready for this volume of residential homes. 109 has not been widened. Double log cabin and Gwynn Road could not handle the traffic. This area will eventually go multi-residential but it is irresponsible to allow the rezoning and building of homes when the infrastructure is not available to protect the safety of those that live in the community already.

No more developments! As an owner of a sizable plot of woods, I do not want to worry about noise, crime and trespassers when a development will be built against my property line. I already hear the cows echoing out to my home, along Old Laguardo (a pleasant sound), but I don't want to hear development noise all the time. And how will these country roads handle all of the construction traffic? We have already considered moving away from the 109 corridor because of the traffic and accidents. How will more homes help this dangerous problem? Having the developer pay for traffic lights or better drainage will not make the overcrowding and its problems any better. I am not against the farmer or my quiet country neighbors, but I am against the developer who will ruin the neighborhood we all love.

Do not pass this rezoning. We have too much traffic on 109 now. No red lights Deaths due to people trying to get onto 109 now along with accidents.

HWY 109 is already a very dangerous road where serious accidents are commonplace, including many fatalities. Adding additional traffic to this area will be detrimental to the quality of life and safety of those who live in this area and those who have no choice other than to travel on HWY 109

With growth that we are currently experiencing in surrounding areas we find the increase of cars on Gwynn has experienced the same growth as a cut through for speeding vehicles along with the trash they like to leave behind. With 109 a major cut through between interstates we have a high volume of not only cars but semi's. It's a daily risk to pull out at anytime of the day. Rush hour has become an all day event. As a resident on Gwynn bringing in a large subdivision will take away the reason I moved here - a peaceful country life.
