To change the name of Savannah High School is like changing the name of the University of Georgia. My beloved SHS has a rich tradition and legacy to so many....it's my identity! I have several degrees but my SHS is one I'm most fond and connected to those who attended.

Chatham County has already decided to move the location of my Alma Matter, in which we, the loyal graduates of Savannah High Schoo,l had to adjust, & now the powers that be are trying to change the name of my precious Alma Matter. If it had remained in its original location, we would be calling it the "Historic Savannah High School," because of the history that goes along with the name of that school, as well as its location. I will not, & shall not align myself with those who are in agreement with changing the name of Savannah High School.
