Do not change the name of the school as it has been a facet of history within our community for years.

If changing the name of Savannah High is that important then rename all other high schools as well. Savannah High is a Historical school being that it was an all white school and to be desegregated. That is a part of history that shouldn't be renamed

I definitely think it should remain Savannah High School and if you want to add an additional name it shouldn't be Career Center East. It should have a more prestigious like Savannah High Learning Institute or some just more profound.

I'm class of 1979...This would be a travesty. There has been an SHS for nearly 100 years and there should ALWAYS ALWAYS be an SHS.

The name has to stay. I went to SHS, my parents, their cousins, my children, my children"s aunts and uncles. The history of the school is part of Savannah. Just like BC, Jenkins. This is crazy to change the name.

We can allow you guys to change the name of the school that does so much and says so much about our community. What's the reason behind the change what good would it do versus what good the name of Savannah High has already died

Why change the name because the school has changed?! That's like changing your child's name because they are growing up.
