Savannah High School has been an intrinsic part of Savannah, containing history reaching back to 1937. I'm proud to have been a part of that history and will stand against any attempts to change the name.

Due to me residing in D.C. I am unable to attend any of the scheduled meetings to address the renaming of my Alma Mater. I wholeheartedly disagree with the decision to rename Savannah High School!

My wish is for Savannah High to keep it's name. If not, I still have memories of 500 Washington Avenue, yearbooks and pictures. Memories cannot be erased.

From the Old Savannah High. We took pride in being a part of the school, as should all students. Please keep "Savannah High School". It should be the pride of all of the schools in Savannah

I disagree with the name change. Their are generations after generations of SHS graduates in my family and the same for other families that have attend school. The mere fact that you have already changed the only location we have all known since we attended school was and still is upsetting to us all as Alumni and as parents of our children who attend school now. Please keep the name as it is. SAVANNAH HIGH SCHOOL

I am a 1979 graduate of Savannah High School. I see no reason to change the name. I am proud of my time at SHS, the name means something to me and many others. It is our history, and inexorably linked to the city of Savannah. Keep the current name.

All four of my daughters graduated from there I think they would taking away the history of the school as well as a since of belonging and identity of those who attended and graduated from Savannah High school.

Savannah itself is historical and it's steeped in tradition as is Savannah High School. I fully understand change is need for growth however changing the name does not, will not aid in the school's advancement. We (students & former students) take pride in the traditions, friendships, growth, education and pride in being apart of the Savannah High School Family!

I don't approve of changing the name of Savannah High School. Many generations before me helped pave the way for my generation and future generations. There were academic changes never a name change. NO NAME CHANGE! Proud BLUE JACKETS ! LET'S STAND TOGETHER!
