Proposed apartment complex in Stonewall Neighborhood

Development would negatively impact floodplain of South Elkhorn creek. The city already has issues with storm water and water quality.

As mentioned... ruining green space that has been there forever; more opportunities for increased crime in this area of town, TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC!!! ALREADY WILL HAVE NEW SHOPPING VENUE AT MAN '0 WAR WHICH IS DREADFUL. STONEWALL HAS ALWAYS BEEN A BEAUTIFUL, QUAINT NEIGBORHOOD AND I'M SURE THIS IS NOT WHAT CURRENT RESIDENTS (MANY OF WHOM HAVE LIVED THERE FOR COUPLE DECADES) SIGNED UP FOR. MUST WE DEVELOP EVERY GREEN SPACE LEFT IN LEX? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WHILE I DON'T LIVE IN STONEWALL, I DO IN A NEARBY NEIGHBORHOOD THAT WILL BE AFFECTED AS WELL. YET I SYMPATHIZE MOST FOR THOSE RESIDING IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD. PLEASE LISTEN TO CITIZENS' FEEDBACK AND DON'T FOLLOW THRU W THE PLANNED PROJECT!!! TRAFFIC WILL INCREASE TREMENDOUSLY, ESP SINCE THERE WILL BE AT THE LEAST ONE VEHICLE PER APPARTMENT...AND MOST LIKELY MORE PER EACH! IS IT GREED FUELING THE DEVELOPERS?

These apartments will be right in our backyard. One of the big reasons we bought the property was because of the undeveloped woods and the wildlife that we could see. There are very few neighborhoods inside Man O War that you can see deer - Stonewall is one of those neighborhoods. This development would push the wildlife out. Additionally, we have a swimming pool in the back yard - we do not wish to have 100s of neighbors watching our kids swim. I can say much more but I will save it for the meetings.

Traffic on Clays Mill is bad enough now we don't more cars.

This area is for single family homes. Apartments and townhouse are NOT appropriate for this area. The destruction of the wooded area will increase noise pollution from Man O War and change rain water flow into South Elkhart Creek. NO!

I am a Stonewall homeowner and am strongly against an apartment building/complex in our neighborhood. I saw a doe with two fawns there just a few weeks ago, support the green space!

Too much congestion in that area already. Would be a nightmare to add more

This will effect all the surrounding subdivisions as well. What happened to some green space being left in our city? Does every field or wooded area have to turn into an apartment complex or shopping center?

I am strongly opposed to apartments on Old Higbee Mill Rd. Please do not accept the zoning change request.

Don't ruin this lovely area. There are enough large apartment complexes sitting half full in this city. Just because "you can" doesn't mean "you should." Some things need to be left alone!

I strongly oppose the zone change. Would love for it to remain green space but, if it is to be developed it needs to be in keeping with our single family residences.

I am a stonewall resident and am greatly concerned by such a change to the neighborhood. I agree that the zoning request should be denied.

NO. All these new developments are ruining Lexington. Can any developers quit thinking if money in their pockets and let empty land be? Has no one learned the lesson that more developments equals more problems? So upset by this
