Proposed apartment complex in Stonewall Neighborhood

Apartments are not compatible with the existing development. This property should remain zoned for single family detached homes. The existing roads will not accommodate this additional traffic load.

This will impact property values, increase crime, increase travel through a family neighborhood, and making turns/traffic much more problematic. Please do not allow this to occur!!

This will impact property values negatively, increase crime, increase travel through the neighborhood-there is talk of making it no left turn from Higbee Mill onto Clays Mill and from Clays Mill onto Higbee Mill which means MOST traffic will be coming down Cornwall.

Absolutely ludicrous to allow apartments here. Traffic, eye sore, there is no need. It seems this city is content on allowing development of every piece of greenspace and to make sure some sort of multi housing complex is integrated into every neighborhood in Lexington. Ridiculous.

I grew up in Stonewall and now live just across the street. I am very opposed to this I am very aware of who the owners of this company are) and more surprised they would want to "Pave Paradise to Put up a Parking Lot" that land has deer and beautiful green space. To whoever owns the house on that property should not sell!

This proposed infill project is not in keeping with the current, long standing character of the surrounding neighborhood. Additionally, there is enough of a challenge with traffic in the area now. This project would complicate the congestion unreasonably.

This will also effect the flood water drainage/retention. Just because a spot isn't developed, doesn't mean it should be.

I am opposed to the development of this historical piece of the Wilderness Road.

We don't need or desire any more apartments in this area.

Lexington needs to keep their green space, as its one of the things that makes Lexington great!

Development of this land will increase already overcrowded traffic patterns.

The suggested land for the apartments is home for a deer herd and various other species of wild life. The land also looks a great deal like wet lands which is federally protected. I wonder if this issue has been explored. If this land is developed this small piece of our heritage is gone forever. It appears our entire community and country is now based on greed instead of need. I moved into this community to have a little breathing room, not be fenced in with apartments and constant traffic. I for one will not set back and allow a few individuals who want to make a few bucks decide the future of my community.

Please don't build these units. Let the area alone!

This zoning request should be denied. This many apartments is way too large and will have a negative effect on our community.

Lexington South end does not need anymore apartments.

This area has enough traffic, we don't need more. The schools also don't need more students. We don't want apartments .

I cant understand why they want more apartments, people cant afford the ones they have now , and they cant keep them full so why build more,,, There is not a need for apartments,, they are going to turn Lexington into a Louisville or a Columbus ohio, a big inner city with no beauty, Lexington is perfect for it has all the luxuriries of a big city convience , but it has these quite nice get away neighborhoods, that get you away from all the whop la,, of a big city,, I wish they would leave the few beautiful landside areas alone,,, I am afraid that no matter what is done here , they will find a way to build they always do,,, and it will be sad , they are destroying what Lexington is so famious for its beauty,,, We already have a very high crime rate,, we have had 5 murders in our city and its only Jan 4th ,,, this year,,,, The more crowded they make a city the more the crime goes up,,, I pray they don't build but I have a feeling they will

No reason for this there are more apt in this town than they can rent now.
