Proposed apartment complex in Stonewall Neighborhood

Save it as green space. There are more than enough established apartment complexes, already located in Lexington.

Driving in this area is impossible mornings and evenings! This would make it even worse! So, PLEASE, NO!!!!

Completely disagree with proposed zone changes. Another reason is that the roads are not designed to handle increased traffic flow that would be created

Even with the up dates on ClaysMill Rd. and Man o War intersection the traffic is still awful. Please don't make things worse just because the city sees more tax dollars!

I live in this area, and any green space is slowly disappearing. We need keep what little we have. This will also displace the wildlife that lives there.

If the city is truly concerned about green space , wild animal protection and water shed maintenance they will annex this area under city park protection and maintenance

No way! This is a bad idea.

I am a new resident of Wyndham Downs. I love this neighborhood and it is lovely the way it is. Not being able to get out to a major artery or getting in to my house is a concern. Please find another area that is less congested than this one to build more housing. We bought houses in here because we thought the property was perfect with areas for wild life. I oppose the zone change.

This proposal will ruin the character of my neighborhood. I do not want to live next door to an apartment complex. Three story buildings in current greenspace, are you kidding me. This is about developers and not the taxpayers in a beautiful residential area.

This is a totally inappropriate development in a historic community that will lead the determination of property values and be a complete eyesore in the community.

Neighborhoods in this area do not need an apartment complex that will do no more than diminish the quality of life for its residents.

I oppose this proposal. We need to preserve this green space and the wildlife that live there. We need more parks not more buildings.

You can find other places to build this. Leave this established and cherished neighborhood alone. This will only bring unwanted noise and problems to the area

My husband and I built equity for 10 years to buy our dream house in Stonewall, now someone wants to erect a 3 story eyesore literally in our backyard! Our backyard and the woods behind it already become quite swampy when heavy rains hit. Building on the site would no doubt create runoff and flooding issues, not just for us but for neighboring homes and South Elkhorn Creek. And please let's not forget that the corner of Longwood and Cornwall is a main bus stop where kids get picked up and dropped off for school. The increased traffic would make this area much more dangerous for them. I am opposed to any development in this area and would rather see it deemed a protected environment/wildlife habitat.

Keep these apartments out of south Lexington.
