This piece of land is needed to remain open as part of the flooding and stormwater quality mitigation for this area of Lexington. Even though infill development is a sensible alternative to developing huge tracts of farmable land, we should be looking for more areas to protect as open space to be included in the greenway system. More careful thought needs to done to determine the eco-services value of this and similar properties around the urban county.

I'm one of a number of homes across from the proposed development. I would have 2 - three story apartments looking right over my privacy fence. NO TO APARTMENTS, BETTER YET NO TO DEVELOPMENT WHEN NOT NEEDED.

What a travesty this development would be!!!! It would certainly devalue the neighborhood and is totally unnecessary!!!
