We agree with the petition. River Strand should be private.

It is important that owners have some rights and privileges beyond those extended to renters in order to protect our community and our investment in it.

We were told we would eventually be a Private Club. There needs to be changes in Rentals as seems they think this is a Vacation Resort and do not have any respect for owners and those of us who live here full time.

We agree with the comments listed. Renters, may be needed, but this should be a private club. We bought with the understanding this would be private and invested because of this. If this does not change we will move. The owners who rent out their condos can change this club to a time share vacation spot, but we will not stick around to be a part of that nonsense.

Agree. Owners should have priority access to amenities, especially "in season". That's why most of us bought here. Enforcing renter policy of one month minimum is a must.

I believe renters should pay at least the same dollar amount as full-time members or more. Renters may not take the same care of facilities as full-time owners.

Tenants should not be allowed to play in our club championship. Transfer fees should be monthly. Club should be private. The Board should act on the committees recommendations and they don't do this all the time. Why have committees if the Board doesn't listen to them.

We need to have RS treated as our community, with limits on public or renters that insure residents have priority in the community.

PLEASE PUT A STOP TO ALL OUTSIDE SHORT TERM RENTERS. A$2000.00 WOULD HELP CURB THIS ABUSE!

Ray and Gloria Fiday, agreed, our transfer fee is at least 10 years behind the times. Also a surcharge for non-resident golf is usual and customary. Our biggest issue is that residents should NEVER be denied T-times. Chelsea must be modified or replaced.

I was also told it was a private club when purchasing my home, i think public access should be revoked that is the whole reason we pay a HOA so that we don't need public monies

It is imperative that renters and vacationers have limited rights vs. owners. Owners should also have preference for tee times and court times. Renters should also pay more than owners for golf.

We pay for all the amenities of River Strand. I find it disgusting that people who do not live or pay for our amenities get to use them. I stand and wait to play pickle ball while non-residents, who do not live here, are allowed entrance to our community and play on our courts. Do not let no-residents in and don't let them use our amenities for free!

In addition, I'd like to see a limited percentage of rental properties, such as 10% or 15% of the total homeowners in River Strand.

We pay a premium to live in a gated community. We pay a premium, 12 months a year for a home with a golf membership. We should expect a benefit for these premiums.
