The board finally gave us the green light for the valet transition and I am just so relieved that all those hours of arguing in the courtyard actually led somewhere. It is such a massive win for everyone who lives here and I really hope the implementation goes as smoothly …
I support the
conversion of the Seward Park Coop garage to valet operation allowing
for:
1. Access to the parking amenity for more shareholders
2. Ongoing increased revenue to the Coop while maintaining affordable, below-market rates
3.
A short-term parking option for neighbors and visitors to our community
who also contend with the significant reduction in local street
and public parking
I have been hearing from so many neighbors who are just as tired of circling the block for twenty minutes as I am so it is really validating to know I am not the only one dealing with this mess. A few board members finally reached out after seeing the names on this list and while they are still being cagey about the logistics I think they are beginning to realize we actually have a plan here that works for everyone.

Yes please. It makes no sense to have empty spots when so many of us are on a waiting list.

Anything that helps with the parking situation around here is a win. I waste so much time circling the block.

FINALLY. The coop needs the money anyway so lets stop wasting space.

This is long overdue. Parking in this neighborhood is a total nightmare and we need to use the space we already have more efficiently.

Great idea. Visitors have nowhere to put their cars and it hurts local business when people cant find a spot.
