As a parent and teacher I know how important parent engagement is to the success of all students. Pro Grants help schools fund crucial programs that promote school/home partnerships. This is WAY more important than cheap beer or longer hours for LCBO or Beer Store. Get your priorities straight Premier Ford!!

These grants are used to engage parents in their children's education and well-being. The funds provided by the Pro Grants have been fundamental in allowing for guest speakers and workshops which directly engage parents and give them the necessary tools to deal with issues that are becoming more prominent such as Mental Health and Well Being. With the increase in mental health issues in our schools, this is not the time to cut funding for a program that enables parents to help, not only their children, but ALL children.

Without the PRO Grants funds valuable resources and supports will decrease which will negatively impact students, families and our community
