You guys are salty public schools recruit more than anyone what about the freshmen year where they can anywhere they want in public school it's funny how you guys act like that stuff doesn't go on at public schools and maybe they would stay at there home schools if the public school system wasn't so bad

In girls basketball in the last 26 years only 2 teams have won a state championship that were not a private school and last year was the second with Gilmer winning. So how can that happen? Simple recertuiting.

I don't think it would be a fair game..public schools just have what the county offers but small towns have great players and know the struggles it takes to get to the state championship game

It's funny how they never get paired in semi finals either

Just make them play up at least one class.

Not only should they be made to go to AAA I think that the SSAC should actually go in the field to do an actual head count. Some of these schools have been lying about their enrollment figures just so they can compete at a lower level so they can dominate their field. If they need employees I can provide them one since I'm unemployed and can't find a job elsewhere

This has been going on to long it's unfair to regular schools who play with whom they have and these schools can get the best.

If they are allowed to recruit they should have to play at a triple A level!

The wvssac has known how unfair this practice is for years but has turned a blind eye to it.

we play a team tonight that has a player from Grafton High School, one from Lewis County High School, one from Robert C Byrd High School and one from Bridgeport High School.....not fair for single A teams that use home grown boys to compete against these recruiting schools that swear they DO NOT recruit.....it USED to be they had their own private tournament.....

Look back over the last several years and see how many "A" schools have won championships in any sport. Many times the runner up is a private school. This is a totally unfair practice. Make them play at a higher class or have their own class.

It's along shot but I think it's a disadvantage. I think Huntington St. Jose only played a hand full of games in the state this year.
Unfair
