3 of the 8 A teams are private schools. Time for a change stop the recruiting.

Need to take a look at your public schools and enforcement of transfer policies before throwing stones.

It's unfair to the public sector. Private schools can recruit & offer scholarships that public schools can't

Long overdue! Also, there needs to be more than 3 classes. It makes no sense for a Single A school with an enrollment of 80 children from grades 9-12 to play another Single A school with 300+ from grades 9-12. Who always has the advantage here?

I am absolute tired of seeing public schools having to play against schools that do not have to follow rules and recruit athletes to play at their schools if they want to be a WVSSAC member thin it is about time to even the balances and either have a private school Tournament or a Catholic Tournament, it is not fair to play a traveling power house team to reach a spot in the West Virginia State Tournament it has been 18 years since a Public school has won a girls class A State Title in this State until last year wheN Gilmer County beat St.Joseph High School how long is it going to take before this happens again? If it continues like it is now then it may be 20 or so years again before it is accomplished again. Governor this is a true problem across the State and something needs to be done.

They should have their own tournament. It should have never been allowed to go on. Very unfair!

Most give scholarships for them to attend.

It's not fair at all if that's the case then public schools should be allowed to recruit ball players and play in the lowest division in West Virginia ... It's wrong and unfair for the other kids

I play for a A public school. The match up really isn't fair when they can spend tons of money and have easy way to fly through to the state tournament. They have a to big advantage and it hurts us public schools badly!
