Stop recruiting and allow public schools fair and balanced sports.

I agree 100%. The private/Christian schools have an unfair advantage. WV Class "A" public schools deserve better treatment from the WVSSAC.

I'm ready and willing to boycott all games against private schools at sectional, regional, and state level. That's what I think it will take.

This is very unfair to the lowest bracket single A. Makes is hard for the real single A teams to compete who are not allowed to recruit!

I agree with the above statement. There needs to be a change.

It's funny you should go look at the history and brackets and then tell me they are never paired in the semis!

Does the name Noah Cottrill ring a bell to anyone?!? That was all PUBLIC school recruiting and moving just to play. This happens at big schools and little schools alike these days! Look at some wrestling recruiting going on down in the southern part of the state. Kids that were wrestling together at MS are no longer at the same HS. It happens across all sports and all classes. The private schools that are in the WVSSAC have to follow the same rules as public schools. Those rules include not having to sit out if you are coming in from a Non-WVSSAC sanctioned school only (i.e. Out of state). Don't think public schools that are along the river are recruiting from Ohio.... then you are wrong. Maybe those teams at the private schools just work harder than the public school teams, the same teams who have parents on here making excuses for them and trying to kick schools out so their kid can win. This is what is wrong today with kids... never about putting in the work and always about trying to make excuses!

I think the Christian schools should play in a higher class.

What I was talking about with freshmen they can go any school they want to as long as that school will take them and they get one transfer back to their home school without sitting out a year do you not think public schools are using that to their advantage

If they would move them up in classification how would be fair for a school with 200 kids from grades 7-12 to compete with a school of 2,000 and like I said most of the kids that go to my kids school is good players that wouldn't play at the public school due to the politics that everyone knows goes on at most schools
